The Slippery Dog has been reinvented and fine-tuned by Daiwa and now features tungsten weighting to enhance its posture in the water and significantly boost its responsiveness during retrieval.
This top-water walk-the-dog lure is an ideal prawn imitation. The TG tune models include two small plastic rattle beads in the head, mimicking the clicking sound of fleeing prawns on the surface. The 65mm Slippery Dog is perfectly sized for areas with skittish fish or exceptionally clear water.
Each Slippery Dog is equipped with BKK Striker Assist hooks on the rear eyelet, a feature praised by many Whiting anglers for increasing hook-up rates. The free-swinging hooks dangle below the lure when paused and can easily swing into place to secure a catch during a strike.
