Description
Compact lever drag overheads with dual gears and castability — the new Speedmaster LD are multi-purpose reels that will slot right in to a number of offshore fishing scenarios. Available in two sizes, the new Speedmaster Lever Drag overheads feature S Concept Design, a single piece frame, dual speed Hagane Concept gears, 4 SA-RB bearings, generous line capacities — even more so if utilising braided line such as Power Pro — and a drag range to match. On top of all this, they can also be cast, making them incredibly versatile light/medium tackle reels.
Technology & Features:
- HAGANE BODY
The HAGANE Body is produced from highrigidity aluminium or magnesium. This creates stiffness and impact resistance, while at the same time eliminating flexing of the body. The result is a rocksolid housing and support for the moving internal gearing and greater efficiency throughout the reel.
- HAGANE GEAR
The HAGANE Drive Gear is produced by Shimano’s coldforging technology, without the need for additional machining. This delivers a longlasting smoothness, strength, lightness and power at the very heart of the reel. Traditional diecast, machined gears are less durable under heavy loads.
- S COMPACT BODY
Compact body design to reduce weight and allow for better grip and leverage while fighting a fish.
