Inspired by the Stella SWC, the Stradic SW includes both Infinity Drive and Silent Drive, offering enhanced pinion gear support and reduced internal wobble for more powerful and smoother cranking. Building on the Stradic FL series, the SW series features the same water resistance technologies and introduces X-Shield, an internal structure that prevents water intrusion and safeguards the internal gears. Available in sizes 5000XG, 6000XG, 8000PG, 10000HG, and 14000XG, the Stradic SW range is ideal for anglers seeking a lighter, high-performance offshore reel.

The MICROMODULE Gear II has evolved with Shimano's unique manufacturing technology and a state-of-the-art gear-tooth surface design. The drive and pinion gear surfaces have been analyzed and updated from the ground up in Shimano's pursuit of perfection to further improve the smooth gear feeling and reduce sound.
- X SHIP
X Ship provides improved gear performance. Large diameter drive gear, optimally positioned pinion gear and drive gear and two points bearing supported pinion gear to produce a light reeling in under load.
- HAGANE Body
The use of lightweight and rigid metals such as aluminum and magnesium firmly suppresses deflection, distortion, and torsion of the reel. This protects delicate gear meshing and enables smooth reeling.
- INFINITY DRIVE
Infinity drive for lever drag reel leverages a new drag design to increase drag force while reducing side-load pressure to product lighter rotation during high-drag situations.
- SILENT DRIVE
The basic design of the entire body and drive-related parts were reviewed one by one to reduce minute rattles, gaps, and shaking between parts down to the smallest detail. It provides smooth and quiet reel rotation.
- X SHIELD
The body is water-resistant equivalent to IPX8 by water-resistant seals on the body, side covers, and other parts of the body.
