The 24 Ocea Jigger LD features the innovative Infinity Drive double drag system, delivering substantial drag force while reducing rotational resistance by up to 30%. Engineered with a host of jigging-specific enhancements, including a revamped drag lever, compact frame, large T-type handle knob, and a 105mm cold-forged handle arm, this reel is primed to take on giant fish with confidence.
Lever drags are visually easy to operate, and their drag performance, which prevents power-down through overheating, is optimal for tuna which are often fought over a long time. The higher the drag force of the lever drag, the heavier the handle rotation becomes, but the newly developed INFINITYDRIVE structure reduces the weight of the handle rotation at high drag by 30% compared to conventional drags. New large T-type handle knob and 105mm cold forged handle to face big fish. OCEA JIGGER series special features (frame shape for easy thumbing, drag lever for ease of operation). Attached drag cam for light lines.
Technology & Features:

- HAGANE Design
Hagane is a Shimano reel design concept created to withstand continual use and extreme abuse. HAGANE is an innovation with built-in toughness and durability that works alongside Shimano's precision engineering. HAGANE is for all anglers.
- HAGANE Body
The Hagane Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity and impact resistance virtually eliminate body flexing on the reel while fighting a fish. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power.
- INFINITY DRIVE
Infinity drive technology is an advanced structure that produces lower friction and lighter winding. Pinion gear is supported by the spool shaft instead of the pinion gear bearing on the spool side. Rotational resistance of the gear section has been reduced without compromising gear strength.
- X PROTECT
X Protect provides high-level water resistance to the inside bearing of drive gear shaft with waterproof construction.
- S COMPACT BODY
S-Compact Body provides the comfortable palming body by making the palming side plate smaller than the handle side plate.
- S A-RB
S A-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano's A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.
The Cross Carbon Drag material provides a wider range of drag settings compared to traditional drag materials. The Cross Carbon Drag provides the smoothest Shimano drag performance ever while providing anglers with increased durability.
- KAISUI OK
Models determined usable in saltwater.
