The GigaMax Motor utilizes a brushless design to provide high torque and high speed while maximizing durability.
- THERMO ADJUST DRAG
The Shimano Beastmaster 9000B makes a major leap forward in electric reel technology with the introduction of the GIGAMAX MOTOR, a brushless motor designed to provide high torque and high speed while maximizing durability. The motor complimented by the new THERMO ADJUST DRAG system which is a control system made to suppress abnormal heat generation and maintain stable drag performance under load. It does this by automatically reducing the speed of the motor whilst the drag is slipping. The reel boasts a cross carbon drag system giving it 25kg of pressure.
- e-EXCITING DRAG SOUND
The e-Exciting Drag Sound is an electronic drag sound from the reel when a fish makes a run. This creates a modern solution to the mechanical clicker while adding excitement to an angler’s experience.
- S A-RB
S A-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano’s A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.
