The blank is constructed using Shakespeare's exclusive HPDB (Howald Process Double Build) blank design. Essential the blank has an inner graphite layer to reduce weight and increase sensitivity. The outer layer is constructed of glass to maintain the strength Ugly Stik rods are famous for.
Stainless steel guides with ceramic inserts, plus a solid clear tip further the longevity expected from an Ugly Stik rod.
Finished off with a graphite reel seat and EVA grips the Ugly Stik Exceed Series are made to last.
