The Nomad Ridgeback Jig features a distinctive, original profile that produces a dynamic and highly effective action in the water. Designed for versatility, it can be worked slowly with subtle rod lifts for slow pitch jigging or ripped back at speed for high-tempo jigging applications.
Its uniquely angled head creates an unpredictable, sideways dart at the peak of each lift—simply add a sharp flick of the rod tip and the Ridgeback kicks hard to the side before fluttering enticingly on the drop. Fished slowly, it delivers a controlled flutter before accelerating into a faster sink, making it ideal for targeting fish holding deeper in the water column.
Whether worked fast or slow, the Ridgeback consistently shoots off to the side with an erratic action that triggers aggressive strikes from both pelagic hunters and bottom-dwelling predators.
