A high-quality slow jigging rod begins with its blank, and the SALTIGA SJ rods use high-elasticity SVF NANOPLUS graphite to create quick-recovery blanks. This advanced material enhances the rod's rebound, enabling faster jigging action and allowing anglers to make precise, subtle movements for optimal jig control.

A unique slow jigging-specific ZERO SEAT has been introduced for this rod series. The larger diameter accommodates both conventional overhead reels from sizes 10-35 and low-profile baitcast reels from sizes 150-400. The ZERO SEAT offers exceptional comfort, conforming to the angler's hand to reduce fatigue during extended jigging sessions and under heavy drag conditions.

The rods also feature Daiwa’s Complete Control (CC) grip design on the foregrip and butt of spinning models, and the butt of overhead models, providing enhanced grip and control during intense battles.

Outfitted with Fuji Titanium Framed SiC guides that use a double-foot construction all the way to the tip, the SALTIGA SJ rods deliver outstanding durability. This robust design prevents damage to the guides from heavy fluorocarbon leaders being retrieved through the tip guides.
