This model in the 25 Saltiga lineup is the one for the offshore enthusiasts! The brand-new SALTIGA J range of rods is dedicated to jigging and bottom fishing. Experience unparalleled casting performance with the new range of SALTIGA rods, specifically designed to complement the king of offshore spinning reels.

After a long wait, Daiwa has finally released a standalone jigging-specific SALTIGA series, featuring a full redesign with cutting-edge technology and new features, including the innovative POWER HOLD reel seat.

The foundation of these rods is the blank, and for the first time in this series, Daiwa has implemented SVF Nanoplus carbon. This high-grade carbon not only makes the rods incredibly lightweight but also enhances the recovery of the blank, which is the time it takes for the blank to return to its straight form after being bent or deflected. This quick recovery is crucial for jigging rods to impart the correct action to jigs with minimal effort from the angler.

A standout feature of the new SALTIGA J series is the POWER HOLD reel seat, available on the five spinning models. This redesigned reel seat offers enhanced comfort, reduced hand fatigue, and a sturdy grip on your reel. The unique enlarged 'hoods' almost entirely encase the reel foot, eliminating exposed threads or hoods that can cause discomfort. This is especially beneficial for high-impact fishing techniques like high-speed mechanical jigging. To equip or remove your reel, the bottom hood of the POWER HOLD reel seat must be slid down and turned 90 degrees to either side.

The SALTIGA J series rods are equipped with FUJI Titanium framed SiC guides, which reduce the total weight and improve the blank's recovery to aid in lure action. FUJI GRC gimbal butt caps are also included, allowing anglers to use the rods with their favorite gimbal belt.

Daiwa’s newly released ‘Complete Control’ grip concept is featured on the foregrip, with a small molded trigger on the leading edge to provide a secure hold for your index finger, preventing your hand from slipping down the rod under tight drags.

The 25 SALTIGA J series includes five spinning models and three overhead models, available in a range of powers from PE2-4 to deep-sea monster-taming PE6-8 models. Some models feature throwback actions familiar to keen Daiwa enthusiasts, such as Combi Jerk and Hiramasa 63 actions. There is sure to be a SALTIGA J to suit your preferred style of heavy saltwater fishing.
