The Ocean’s Legacy Long Contact Jig 170g is a versatile offshore metal jig built for anglers targeting hard-fighting fish in deep water and strong currents. Its sleek, centre-balanced profile is designed to sink quickly and efficiently into the strike zone, while delivering an enticing fluttering action on the drop. Suitable for both fast-pitch and slow-pitch jigging, the Long Contact gives anglers the flexibility to adapt their presentation to current conditions and fish behaviour.
Designed to attract predators at depth, the Long Contact features specially designed rear glow ridges that enhance flash and vibration, paired with premium UV and glow finishes and high-quality foil detailing. These features help maintain visibility in low-light conditions and deeper water, creating an appealing baitfish-like presentation when targeting wary or aggressive predators. Its streamlined shape also reduces water resistance, making it a dependable option when working jigs through strong currents.
Field-tested in Australian and New Zealand waters, the Long Contact has proven its versatility on a range of offshore species, including kingfish, amberjack, snapper, tuna and other powerful demersal and pelagic fish. Whether you're working deep reefs or chasing pelagics offshore, the 170g Long Contact combines fast sink performance, enticing action and standout visual attraction in one effective jig.
