The Nomad Riptide 125 SNK is a versatile sinking stickbait built to tempt hard-hitting saltwater predators. At 125mm, it’s an ideal option for targeting kingfish, mackerel, tuna, queenfish, GTs, barramundi and a range of other inshore sportfish. Its carefully balanced design allows the lure to sit level and sink slowly when paused, imitating a wounded baitfish and giving predators an easy-looking target.
The Riptide really comes alive with a twitching, walk-the-dog retrieve, producing an aggressive side-to-side action that can turn nearly 180 degrees. Fish it fast to trigger reaction strikes or slow it down to work the pause, with its versatile action performing in both calm and rough conditions. Designed and tested in Australia by the Nomad Sportfishing Team, the Riptide combines a proven baitfish profile with the toughness and purpose-built action Nomad Design lures are known for.
Technology & Features:
- Designed & Tested In Australia
- Made With BKK Hooks
- Matrixx Metal Plate System - The ultimate internal strength designed for big fish. Features a uniquely designed stainless steel plate in the body mold of the lure. The plate is fused into the lure with a series of small holes at critical locations in the plate, allowing the molded plastic to weave through the plate and create the ultimate in strength.
- Triple Shield Protection - The painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional colour depth and ensures that the finish on your lure will last longer.
- HD ABS System - Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white colour, and is ultimately stronger than other plastics used for lure production. These lures also feature a thicker wall construction, meaning ultimate strength and durability.
