X45
Our brand new X45 takes everything to the next level. X45 significantly reduces blank twist and distortion, 25% more efficient than our standard X45 technology. X45 is visible to the naked eye, and is characterised by the distinct look of the TD Commander’s blank.

Over 2 years of R&D went into the brand new Air Sensor reel seats used on TD Commander rods. By using high-end carbon material we produced a reel seat that is incredibly light, but also unmatched at transmitting bites through to your hands.

New AGS Guides
Our brand new AGS carbon fibre anti-tangle shaped guides are used on the tip section of all TD Commander rods. Reducing weight where it’s needed most, to improve responsiveness and enhance sensitivity.

Dressed in classic green and featuring stylish cork grips the new TD Commander series is a range that delivers in looks and swagger and high-end performance. From ultra-light finesse models designed for bream and trout, through to extra-heavy models made to muscle cod and barramundi from heavy cover.

TD Commander has been completely overhauled to bring you one of the highest performance rod series ever to be released from Daiwa Australia.

Features:

3DX
3DX supports the lower power section of the rod by knitting densely packed carbon fibers in 3 directions to achieve a six wrap rectangular weave. Power through the blank under load is distributed evenly in all directions allowing it to maintain its profile and form. This process confines the rod’s power to the lower section of the rod, increases power, eliminates blank twist and collapse, all the while reducing angler fatigue.

AGS GUIDES
Weighing a mere fraction of the weight of traditional guides (40% lighter than an equivalent sized titanium guide) AGS guides feature a solid carbon fibre frame construction that minimizes weight, improves casting distance and performance, and delivers faster rod speed, reduced rod vibration and angler fatigue, and greater rod sensitivity.

AIR SENSOR REEL SEAT
Daiwa’s carbon fibre reel seat that’s minimal in weight, yet high in strength and sensitivity. Our ultimate high end, high performance reel seat.

FUJI SIC RING
SiC has been the gold standard of guide ring material for over 20 years. Super hard, light, and highly polished and smooth, SiC guides are an excellent dissipater of heat making them ideal for light drags and/or big fish

FUJI TITANIUM GUIDES
The pinnacle of metal-framed guides titanium is lighter, stronger and more corrosion resistant than other metals.

HVF NANOPLUS
Through the use of nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, Nanoplus allows for increased graphite density to be achieved within a graphite rod blank.

SPLIT GRIP
A spilt rear grip that has an exposed blank section between the reel seat and the end of the rod.

V-JOINT
Bias construction within the ferrule allows it to flex with the rod, eliminating the weak, unbending spot caused by ordinary ferrules. The result of this revolutionary technology is a multi-piece blank that matches the performance of one-piece blanks in flex, power and responsiveness.

X45
Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows a lighter, stronger and more power and sensitive rod to be made.
